Dr. Ashutosh Shelat MD MBA

Dr. Ashutosh Shelat is the Founder and CEO of Kapa Medtech Solutions. Dr. Shelat started his career as an algorithmic programmer for trading systems. Designing software and hardware solutions he improved fundamental market making and liquidity in multiple derivative instruments. This accelerated his passion for workflow economics, and financial analysis and led to completion of his MBA at University of Chicago. After graduating from medical school, Dr. Shelat completed his training in diagnostic radiology which blended clinical care and advanced technology systems.

With backgrounds in operational management, algorithm-based programming, and clinical care, Dr. Shelat recognized the struggles that clinical healthcare providers continually face when trying to provide the best and most efficient care for their patients. By customizing solutions for individuals, practices, and healthcare enterprises, Kapa Medtech Solutions was founded on providing better workflow for physicians, better revenues for shareholders, and, above all else, better outcomes for patients.
